Customer Review from Brian Sankey
The RamAir filter arrived yesterday afternoon and I installed it last night.
Relatively straight forward to install, but a few very fiddly tasks.
The video link below provides outstanding guidance which I had playing on my laptop beside the bike.
It's important to allow the bike to self tune after fitting.
This simply involves letting the bike idle for at least 12 minutes after the bike reaches operating temperature.
The end result is very impressive.
The sound of the three throttle bodies drawing in air is like a roar coming from under the tank and bear claw. The last of the video gives a good demo of this.
The performance is around 10% more athletic, even with all other stock parts.
There's occasional backfiring coming from the filter, but that should get sorted once it gets tuned with new exhaust and power commander unit.
